Is the information posted really reflect what is happening at PAM? This is 2019. Can you provide information on curriculum and funding support.

Dear PAM, Greetings from Young Strong Mothers Foundation (YSMF) Morogoro Tanzania. I am so happy and excited to see that there are others who saw the need of supporting adolescent mothers and that not only me. I lost my biological parents when i was young that i even don;t know how they look like, due to the lack of right information on sexual and reproductive health, basic needs and parental care i become a mother at the age of 16. Life was very difficult, being a young mother with no education or skills to be employed or self employed, denied by a man responsible, kicked out of home and living without family, social or government. The struggle i went through, with my child on my back opened my eyes and worked so hard until i manage to get education support. After my studies i built a strong desire to use my story to influence others and advocating for adolescent mother's support. In my country, teenage mothers are looked like useless, shameless and group of kids who wanted sex only. Most of families, societies and government in full doesn't stand for this group. Once your pregnancy at young age doesn't matter the reason you will be kicked out of school for good, less saying, and no one can care for you. Once i realized the impact of supporting this group i started an organization to suppot teenage mothers rebuild their lost dreams through various programs such as education, vocational schools, skills building and health service.
This is a very good work you are doing.
Hoping one day in future can have an opportunities of working together.
Regards, all in all am happy to meet you through this website

It is good to see that the Programme is still up and running. Programme for Adolescent Mothers has been providing and second chance for many of us adolescent mothers over the years helping us to get from point A to B. Giving us the will to move on up instead of staying where we are/were and wallowing in the mud making a mess of our lives and baby(s). Thank you for all you have done and continue to do. Keep it up!

I came across this website and was very impressed with the work you are doing here! I think that you are doing a great job to enable these young ladies to recognize that they are able to achieve there aims and goals despite being young mothers which as I can identify with isn't always an easy task. I am hoping to make a donation in the future and come and visit you. My father was a Grenadian and I currently reside in the UK. Do you have any job vacancies?
